What we are and what we are not

We publish country profiles, a policy-proposal paper and our methodology. The aim is that a reader, journalist or researcher can find the rule, the authority and the verification date behind each claim.

We are not a public body, a regulator, a law firm, a betting operator or a crypto exchange. We do not present the site as a registered organisation or as a neutral voice: it is a publication with a position, and each profile separates facts from interpretation.

Our position, stated plainly

We argue that a total ban tends to push activity into unsupervised channels, and that proportionate licensing, a public register and enforceable user protection usually produce better outcomes. That is a debatable policy thesis, not a fact, so profiles show what official sources say separately from what we think.

We acknowledge the opposing case: a ban can also answer real harms such as indebtedness, fraud or aggressive advertising. When a profile describes a restrictive change, we label it as such and do not soften it.

Funding and commercial ties

This site receives sponsorship income from MobCash (https://mobcash.lat/), the official representation of the betting operator 1xBet in Latin America. In other words, the site is funded by a company tied to a betting operator. The sponsorship is shown in the footer of every page with a link marked as sponsored. That relationship may influence our perspective, which is why we disclose it; we do not assess 1xBet’s licensing status in each country, which should be checked in the official registers linked in the profiles.

Apart from that sponsored link, the site does not link to betting operators or crypto platforms, publish operator comparisons, bonuses or promo codes, or use other affiliate links. The other external links in our profiles go to laws, regulators and official registers.

Any other funding, sponsorship, advertising or commission from operators or sector suppliers will be declared on the disclosure page before it takes effect.

Contact and corrections

Write to contacto@4cryptobet.net. We answer correction requests, press enquiries and questions about our methodology. We do not give individual advice or handle complaints against operators.

A useful correction names the specific statement, the official rule or register that contradicts it and a verifiable link. If it holds, we update the profile and its verification date and keep a change note.
